Singapore Airlines has unveiled its next-generation KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system, with 4K touchscreens, spatial audio, Bluetooth headphone pairing, passenger profiles and a redesigned interface including a dedicated Kids’ Mode.

The system, announced on 22 October, will debut on 41 retrofitted Airbus A350-900 aircraft — 34 long-haul and 7 ultra-long-range jets — with the first back in service in the first quarter of 2027. It will also be factory-fitted on the airline’s incoming Boeing 777-9 fleet, with first deliveries expected in 2027.

First Class passengers get 32-inch 4K OLED screens with Bluetooth; Business Class gets 22-inch 4K OLED screens on the A350s. On the 777-9, Premium Economy and Economy gain all-new seats with up to 16-inch and 13-inch 4K screens respectively. The airline’s target is to complete all 41 A350 refits by the end of 2030.

The announcement also covers high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi — but that element is not new. Singapore Airlines selected SpaceX’s Starlink on 4 May 2026 to bring free gate-to-gate connectivity to around 53 aircraft, comprising A350-900 long-haul and ultra-long-range jets plus the Airbus A380 fleet. Rollout begins in early 2027 and is targeted for completion by the end of 2029. The Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for Suites, First and Business Class passengers and PPS Club members; Premium Economy and Economy passengers need KrisFlyer membership.

The airline says the full experience, including new First and Business Class cabins, will be unveiled in Singapore in November.
