Texas — final subgrantee awards

Seventeen provider-level final BEAD subgrantee agreements, announced by the Texas Broadband Development Office around 3 June 2026 and reported on 4 June 2026. Verification: press report. The Texas BDO has not published an official final award list or a county breakdown, so these rows are not presented as an official record — each is transcribed from a trade-press report that quotes the BDO, with that report linked per row. Rows older than 90 days without re-verification are retired from the published feed.

Note: in August 2026 the Texas Comptroller paused all BEAD disbursements pending an audit (reported by Fierce Network). The awards below remain awarded; disbursement timing may change.

Coverage and what’s next

California: NTIA approved the final proposal on 17 July 2026; the CPUC ratification vote was scheduled for 17 September 2026 — no final award list published yet. Florida: NTIA approved the final proposal, but FloridaCommerce still calls the winners “provisional” (June 2026 documents) — no final award list yet. Both states are on the watch list; rows land here as soon as verifiable lists publish. The plan is to expand toward the top-10 BEAD-allocation states over the coming weeks.
