Paris Saint-Germain beat Barcelona 4-2 in a Champions League classic at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night, making it back-to-back 4-2 scorelines after their win over Manchester City on 14 October (The Times).

Désiré Doué struck first in the 38th minute, seizing on a misplaced pass from Lamine Yamal, but Xavi Espart — making his first Champions League start — levelled for the visitors ten minutes after the restart, assisted by Fermín López (Flashscore).

Lucas Hernández restored PSG’s lead with a header from a Doué corner around the 70th minute, his first goal since February 2024, only for Yamal to answer again in the 78th with a stunning solo effort finished from a tight angle (Flashscore; The Times).

PSG struck twice in six minutes to settle it. Vitinha rifled a half-volley in from the edge of the box in the 80th minute (USA Today), and Fabián Ruiz tapped home from an Achraf Hakimi cross in the 86th. “Hakimi sends it across goal and Fabián Ruiz taps in,” The Times’ live blog reported.

Both sides arrived unbeaten on six points; PSG now have nine from three in the league phase (TNT Sports). Barcelona were without Rodri, who was rested with a minor muscle overload (NBC Sports).
