France’s Foreign Ministry slammed Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir on Wednesday over an AI-generated video showing Gazans magically transported to Paris, responding through its “French Response” account on X (https://www.anews.com.tr/world/2026/10/21/france-slams-israels-ben-gvir-over-ai-video-showing-gazans-sent-to-paris).

“Imagine having a magic lamp and wasting your wish on … Ben-Gvir. Even magic can’t lift his ban from entering France,” the ministry’s account said (https://www.anews.com.tr/world/2026/10/21/france-slams-israels-ben-gvir-over-ai-video-showing-gazans-sent-to-paris).

Ben-Gvir, leader of the far-right Jewish Power party, posted the AI clip on Tuesday, one week before Israel’s 27 October parliamentary elections, presenting Gaza in 2030 as a devastated ghost town with its schools, infrastructure and port destroyed. A donkey scene is followed by the message “You’d have to be a donkey to stay in Gaza,” mocking Palestinians who remain (https://www.anews.com.tr/world/2026/10/21/france-slams-israels-ben-gvir-over-ai-video-showing-gazans-sent-to-paris).

The video followed Sunday accusations by Arab parties that Ben-Gvir was exploiting measures against Palestinians to rally support and intimidate Arab voters, and a Monday Channel 12 poll projecting 55 seats for the opposition and 51 for Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition — both short of the 61 needed for a majority in the 120-seat Knesset (https://www.anews.com.tr/world/2026/10/20/israels-ben-gvir-boasts-of-gazas-destruction-mocks-displaced-palestinians-in-ai-generated-video).

According to Anadolu Agency, Israel’s war on Gaza, launched with US support in October 2023, has killed more than 74,000 people and injured over 175,000, while destroying 90% of civilian infrastructure (https://www.anews.com.tr/world/2026/10/21/france-slams-israels-ben-gvir-over-ai-video-showing-gazans-sent-to-paris).
