A Saudi airstrike on a house in the Asr district of Yemen’s Houthi-controlled capital, Sanaa, killed three people and wounded several others on Saturday, Houthi media reported, with the toll described as preliminary (https://www.lbcgroup.tv/news/middleeastnews/964568/saudi-strike-on-house-in-yemens-sanaa-kills-three-houthi-media/en).
The Houthi-run Al-Masirah station said “the Saudi enemy targeted a house in Asr,” in the west of the capital, according to Agence France-Presse. The strike came after Saudi forces said they had intercepted two missiles fired at western Saudi Arabia (https://www.lbcgroup.tv/news/middleeastnews/964568/saudi-strike-on-house-in-yemens-sanaa-kills-three-houthi-media/en).
A Khaleej Times live update likewise recorded the report on Saturday afternoon as “Saudi strike on house in Yemen’s Sanaa kills 3: Houthi media,” while The Economic Times’ live blog carried the Houthi media report of deadly Saudi strikes in Sanaa province (https://www.khaleejtimes.com/world/mena/us-israel-iran-lebanon-war-live-updates-october-24-2026).
The Asr strike is distinct from Friday’s reported strike on a house in Nihm district, north-east of Sanaa, which Houthi media said killed three people and injured nine, all members of one family (https://www.bastillepost.com/global/article/6285976-saudi-led-coalition-intercepts-houthi-missiles-drones-as-houthi-media-report-saudi-airstrikes).
Casualty figures in the Saturday report come from Houthi media and could not be independently verified; no immediate comment from the Saudi-led coalition on the Asr strike was reported.
