Seven Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza on Tuesday despite ceasefire — IDF says one target was Hamas official
Seven Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes at separate locations across Gaza on Tuesday; the IDF said one of the dead was a senior Hamas security official.
Seven Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes at separate locations across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to the territory’s civil defence rescue service and several hospitals, in the latest ceasefire breaches, AFP reported on Wednesday (first published 10:00 MYT, 07:00 PKT).
Two men were killed in strikes on Al-Zawaida and the Wadi Gaza area in central Gaza, according to civil defence spokesperson Mahmoud Bassal and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital. A strike in Jabalia al-Balad in northern Gaza killed one person, Bassal and Al-Shifa Hospital said, with Al-Shifa also receiving another victim from the Zeitoun neighbourhood southeast of Gaza City.
A man and a woman, identified by Al-Shifa Hospital as Akram Yassin and his wife, were killed — and several others injured — in a strike on a residential block in Al-Rimal, west of Gaza City. Flip News previously reported the couple’s deaths on Tuesday; the Israeli military later said the man it killed was “Akram Bassam Shaaban Yassin, a senior official in the general security apparatus of the terrorist organisation Hamas in the Gaza Strip”.
Nasser Hospital reported it received the body of a teenager killed by Israeli gunfire south of Khan Younis. TRT World reported that two children were among the seven dead and ten others wounded. The military told AFP it was verifying the other reports; Gaza’s health ministry told TRT World that ceasefire violations have killed 1,522 Palestinians and wounded 5,421 others since October 10, 2025.
