DoorDash opens first India office in Hyderabad, plans 3,000-plus jobs
DoorDash has opened its first India office — a "Talent Hub" in Hyderabad's Hitec City — starting with 500 professionals and planning to grow beyond 3,000 within two years.
US-based DoorDash opened its first India office in Hyderabad on Wednesday, inaugurating a “Talent Hub” in Hitec City that will start with 500 professionals and scale to more than 3,000 within two years, the NASDAQ-listed company said.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu inaugurated the facility alongside DoorDash chief financial officer Ravi Inukonda, senior director of workforce strategy and talent acquisition operations Jenna Kohnke, and Sai Krishna, IT adviser to the Telangana government.
The hub will initially house Customer Experience and Integrity (CXI) and general and administrative teams. Its CXI operation becomes DoorDash’s third internal CXI service centre worldwide, alongside those in Tempe, Arizona, and Mexico City.
DoorDash said the Hyderabad team will support a global platform serving more than 56 million monthly active consumers, with operations across more than 40 countries. The company holds more than 65 per cent of the US market and recorded over $100 billion in marketplace gross order value in 2025.
The company will start operations in Hyderabad in October and plans to move to a larger facility by April 2027 as the team grows.
