Tyler Cameron and fiancée Tate Madden expecting first baby after DWTS gender reveal

Tyler Cameron, the 33-year-old Bachelorette alum, and his fiancée Tate Madden, also 33, have announced they are expecting their first child together — a baby girl. The couple broke the news live during Tuesday’s (20 October) Dedication Night episode of Dancing with the Stars, USA Today reports.

The reveal came in the middle of Cameron’s contemporary routine with pro partner Sharna Burgess, danced to Ed Sheeran’s “Supermarket Flowers”. The performance was dedicated to mothers everywhere and to Cameron’s late mother Andrea, who died of a brain aneurysm in March 2020, and featured a voiceover letter to his mum before Madden joined him on the dance floor.

Co-host Alfonso Ribeiro then presided over an on-stage gender reveal, with cannons firing pink confetti to announce the couple are having a daughter. “I get to be a girl dad, what a gift,” Cameron said, according to Page Six.

After the show, Cameron posted a photo of himself kissing Madden’s bump on Instagram with the caption: “Baby Cameron coming 2027.”

Page Six reports the couple went public with their relationship in October 2024. In a People exclusive, they revealed they met in 2022 while Cameron was filming Going Home with Tyler Cameron, on which Madden worked as a photographer, and announced their engagement on 15 August with a beach proposal at Little Palm Island captioned “Better late than never they say”.
