Foxconn Q3 revenue jumps 47% on AI demand, beating market estimates
Foxconn posted a 47% jump in third-quarter revenue to T$3.03 trillion, beating market estimates on strong AI demand; September was a record month.
Taiwan’s Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics maker and Nvidia’s biggest server maker, reported on Monday a 47% jump in third-quarter revenue from a year earlier, beating market forecasts on the back of strong artificial-intelligence demand (https://www.reuters.com/world/china/foxconn-third-quarter-revenue-jumps-47-yy-beats-market-forecast-2026-10-05/).
Revenue for the July-September quarter was T$3.03 trillion ($95.4 billion), well above the LSEG SmartEstimate of T$2.83 trillion, which gives greater weight to forecasts from analysts who have proved more consistently accurate (https://www.manilatimes.net/2026/10/06/business/foreign-business/foxconn-q3-revenue-soars-on-ai-demand/2439358).
The company said strong AI demand drove robust revenue growth in its cloud and networking products division, while smart consumer electronics — which include iPhones — also posted significant growth (https://www.manilatimes.net/2026/10/06/business/foreign-business/foxconn-q3-revenue-soars-on-ai-demand/2439358).
September alone brought in T$1.16 trillion, up 38% year on year — a record for a single month and the first time monthly revenue has crossed the T$1 trillion mark (https://www.manilatimes.net/2026/10/06/business/foreign-business/foxconn-q3-revenue-soars-on-ai-demand/2439358).
Foxconn said its AI-related operations are expected to keep growing in the fourth quarter, and that together with the traditional second-half peak season for electronics this should “support overall performance in line with current market expectations”. It added, however, that it “remains necessary to monitor the impact of a volatile global political and economic environment” (https://www.manilatimes.net/2026/10/06/business/foreign-business/foxconn-q3-revenue-soars-on-ai-demand/2439358).
The company, formally Hon Hai Precision Industry, does not give numerical forecasts and will report full third-quarter earnings on 12 November. Its shares have gained 10% this year, underperforming the 72% rise in the Taiwan market, and closed up 1.2% on Monday ahead of the revenue data release (https://www.manilatimes.net/2026/10/06/business/foreign-business/foxconn-q3-revenue-soars-on-ai-demand/2439358).
