'Dynasty' star Adam Huber and wife Rachel are expecting their first baby
Dynasty star Adam Huber, 39, and beauty influencer Rachel Huber, 25, are expecting their first child together, telling PEOPLE exclusively they are beyond excited as Rachel's due date of 9 March approaches.
“Dynasty” star Adam Huber and his wife Rachel Huber are going to be parents. The actor, 39, and the beauty influencer, 25, are expecting their first baby together, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE this week.
Rachel, who is due on 9 March, told the magazine she and Adam are “so ready” to become parents nearly one year after they tied the knot in Croatia. The couple first connected on Instagram and married last September.
Rachel described a surprise discovery: flying home after visiting her family in Kansas City, she decided “it would be funny” to take a pregnancy test on the airplane, having packed one left over from a previous purchase. “Sure enough, two lines showed up almost immediately!” she told PEOPLE. “I tried to keep the news to myself for the rest of the flight, but that lasted about 20 minutes before I ended up telling Adam right there on the airplane.”
She said the news was a shock at first but added: “It definitely happened a lot sooner than we anticipated, so there was a lot of shock at first, but now we’re beyond excited.”
The couple know the baby’s sex but will not share it until they are officially parents. They have also been through major life changes alongside the pregnancy: they recently sold their house in Atlanta and are moving closer to Rachel’s parents in Kansas City. “We’re so ready for it, though,” Rachel said. “We’ve already started planning Baby Huber’s first European vacation next summer or fall.”
Huber is best known for playing Liam Ridley in The CW’s “Dynasty” reboot, which ran from 2018 to 2022, and most recently recurred in the first season of “NCIS: Origins”.
