The BBC has confirmed the four celebrity pairs taking on series four of Celebrity Race Across the World, including Ella Eyre, Jeff Stelling, Princess and Junior Andre, and Sam Ryder, on a 7,500km race from Borneo to Melbourne on £26 a day.
The BBC has confirmed the celebrity line-up for the fourth series of Celebrity Race Across the World, described as the most star-studded cast yet, with four pairs set to race 7,500km from Borneo to Melbourne in Australia, Geo News reported.
The pairs are: Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter Ella Eyre and her childhood friend Nana; veteran sports broadcaster Jeff Stelling and his son Matt; influencer Princess Andre and her brother, musician Junior Andre; and Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder with his best friend and tour manager Kaz.
Princess and Junior are the children of Peter Andre and Katie Price, while Stelling is best known for his 25-year stint presenting Soccer Saturday, and Eyre for her No1 hit “Waiting All Night”, Entertainment Daily reported.
The race begins in Kuching in the Malaysian state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo. The celebrities will pass through five checkpoints across three countries and two continents, surviving on just £26 per person per day with no phones or credit cards, relying on local transport, a map and a satellite phone for emergencies, DVDfever reported.
The series will air on BBC One and iPlayer this autumn, following the end of Celebrity Traitors.
