Chad Lowe's daughter Fiona dies aged 13: 'She was the light of our lives'

Chad Lowe’s daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe, has died at the age of 13, PEOPLE reported on Tuesday, 29 September.

In a statement shared with PEOPLE, the Lowe family said: “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona.” They remembered her as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance”.

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,” the family said. “In fact, she was the light of our lives.”

“Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time,” the statement added, before referencing the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for anyone struggling with mental health.

Page Six carried the same statement, confirming Fiona was 13 and was shared by Chad Lowe, 58, and his wife, producer Kim Painter, 52. Fiona was born on 16 November 2012. She is survived by her sisters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.

The news comes months after the family lost their Pacific Palisades home to fire in early 2025. In February, Lowe shared pictures of his daughters visiting what remained of the house where all three girls had grown up, praising “their spirit and resilience”.

No further details have been released, and the family has asked for privacy.
