David Beckham nets £38m payout as World Cup deals drive record profits

Sir David Beckham has banked roughly £38m from his brands empire after profits leapt 47% to £50m, fuelled by World Cup-linked deals with Bank of America, McDonald's, Verizon and PepsiCo Lay's.

Sir David Beckham has banked a roughly £38 million payout from his business empire after a record year for profits, boosted by a wave of commercial deals struck ahead of the 2026 Fifa World Cup.

Latest accounts for DRJB Holdings, the holding company combining his brands, show net profit leapt 47% to £50 million for 2025. The company handed out £38.9 million in dividends to shareholders, with a further £46.6 million paid out after the end of the financial year — Beckham’s share across the two payouts was around £38.5 million.

Revenues at David Beckham Brands jumped 20% to £84 million, powered by a new multi-year partnership with Bank of America signed before the World Cup, alongside contracts with McDonald’s, Verizon and PepsiCo Lay’s.

The group is jointly owned by Beckham’s company Footwork Productions, which holds 45%, and US consumer giant Authentic Brands Group, which bought its 55% majority stake in 2022 for £200 million.

During 2025 Beckham also launched his first co-designed menswear collections for Hugo Boss, new David Beckham Eyewear collections with Safilo and a second model of limited-edition Adidas Predator football boots. Corey Salter, chief executive of entertainment at Authentic, said the results showed “why David Beckham is one of the most powerful global brands in sport, lifestyle, entertainment and much more.”

Beckham, who was made a Knight Bachelor in 2025, has seen his commercial empire thrive despite a high-profile family feud with eldest son Brooklyn.
