A cause of death has been determined for AEW wrestler PAC. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has concluded that Benjamin Satterley, who wrestled as PAC, died of bronchial asthma, and ruled the manner of death natural, the New York Post first reported on October 16.

The finding closes the nearly three-week gap since Satterley’s death on September 27. The 40-year-old was found unconscious in a rental car in the parking lot of a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, at around 4pm local time; first responders pronounced him dead at the scene. An autopsy was performed the following day, but the cause and manner were left pending while further testing was completed.

First responders found no injuries or suspicious markings on Satterley, though they noted saliva on the front of his shirt and medication in his vehicle, according to the police incident report.

Satterley had competed just one night before his death, wrestling Andrade El Idolo in the opening match of the AEW All Out pay-per-view on September 26 at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, challenging for the AEW National Championship. He later appeared in the show’s main event.

A Newcastle upon Tyne native, Satterley performed in WWE as Adrian Neville, became the inaugural AEW International Champion, and was a two-time AEW World Trios Champion.
