AEW wrestler PAC, aka Benjamin Satterley, dies aged 40
All Elite Wrestling has announced the death of Benjamin Satterley, better known as PAC, aged 40 — just one night after he wrestled at AEW All Out.
AEW wrestler PAC has died aged 40. All Elite Wrestling announced on Sunday night via its official X account that Benjamin Satterley, better known by his ring name PAC, had passed away. The company gave no cause of death.
“A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004,” the announcement said, saluting his “innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability” across two decades in wrestling organisations around the world.
Satterley performed in WWE as Adrian Neville, where he helped establish the NXT brand as NXT Champion before moving to the main roster as a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion. He signed with AEW in 2019 and became the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion in 2022 — the title now known as the AEW International Championship. He also held the World Trios Championship as part of Death Triangle alongside Penta and Rey Fenix, and was later a member of the Death Riders.
He had competed just one night before the announcement, wrestling Andrade El Idolo in the opening match of the AEW All Out pay-per-view on Saturday at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, challenging for the AEW National Championship.
AEW offered its condolences to “Satterley’s family, friends and fans”.
