Rod Stewart announces 2027 final tour: 'Most definitely my last'

Rod Stewart has announced The Final Encore, a 2027 tour of the UK and Europe that the 81-year-old says will be his last, closing a touring career of more than six decades.

Rod Stewart has announced that his 2027 tour, titled The Final Encore, will be his last, bringing down the curtain on a touring career that has lasted more than six decades.

“My dear friends, The time has come to say farewell to life on the road. After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last,” the 81-year-old singer said in a statement. “I’ve been singing the music I love since I was 19 years old, and I’ve had the privilege of taking it around the world to all of you.”

The tour will cover the UK, Ireland and Europe. It opens on 23 April 2027 at Dublin’s 3Arena, followed by Belfast’s SSE Arena on 27 April and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on 29 April, with UK arena dates including Birmingham, Manchester’s Co-op Live and London’s O2. The European leg begins on 28 May in Amsterdam and ends in Hannover, Germany, on 24 July.

Synth-pop pioneer Howard Jones will support Stewart across the UK and Ireland dates. A fanclub presale begins on Tuesday 29 September, with general sale tickets from Friday 2 October.
