Taylor Frankie Paul quits 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives', citing cast bullying

Taylor Frankie Paul is walking away from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives after five seasons, announcing the decision in a lengthy Instagram post on Monday 21 September. The 32-year-old reality star said she no longer had any desire to move forward with the Hulu series after what she described as bullying from her castmates.

“My gratitude goes to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return,” she wrote, in an apparent reference to an invite from Hulu to appear on the show’s sixth season. “However I don’t desire to move forward like this.”

Paul said that “almost the entire cast” had been “going at” her and described comments involving her children as “disgusting”. She added that she was “relieved to be out”. A representative for Paul declined to comment further when contacted by PEOPLE.

The announcement comes a week after co-star Mikayla Matthews said she was quitting the show because she had learned Paul was returning, and follows months of legal trouble for Paul, including a domestic violence investigation with her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen that halted production in March. Entertainment Weekly also reports that TMZ claimed earlier this month that Paul’s visitation with her children was reduced after she allegedly failed multiple court-ordered drug tests, which she has not addressed.
