A judgment of dissolution filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on 1 October formally ended Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer's marriage — 10 years after they separated.

A judgment of dissolution was filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, 1 October 2026, according to court documents reviewed by Page Six. The documents state: “Judgment of dissolution is entered. Marital or domestic partnership status is terminated and the parties are restored to the status of single persons.”
Maguire’s marital status was officially terminated on 21 September 2026, per the documents. The couple bifurcated their marital status, meaning remaining issues in the divorce are still to be worked out — “The Court shall reserve jurisdiction to hear and determine all issues raised by the Petition and Response herein, other than dissolution of the parties’ marital status.”
The Spider-Man star, 51, and the jewellery designer, 49, separated in 2016 after nine years of marriage, announcing the split in a joint statement. Meyer filed for divorce in October 2020.
Entertainment Weekly and JustJared independently confirmed the court filing, with JustJared noting the judgment was filed on Thursday, 1 October.
