SpaceX to launch Starlink Group 15-27 from Vandenberg on Saturday night

SpaceX is set to close out the week with another Starlink launch, sending the Group 15-27 mission skyward from California’s central coast on Saturday night.
The Falcon 9 is scheduled to lift off from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 9:47 p.m. EST on Saturday, September 19, carrying another batch of broadband internet satellites into low Earth orbit, Astronomy reported.
The mission adds to a constellation that passed 11,000 satellites in orbit last month, according to Spaceflight Now’s tracking — a cadence that has made Falcon 9 the workhorse of the company’s broadband buildout while Starship prepares for its first orbital test flight on September 22.
