The Golden State Valkyries are level in the WNBA Finals again.
Golden State beat the Atlanta Dream 67-62 in Game 4 at State Farm Arena on Saturday, squaring the best-of-seven series at 2-2 after Atlanta had taken a 2-1 lead with victories in Games 2 and 3. Both teams are chasing a first WNBA championship.
The Valkyries led from the start, taking the first quarter 16-11 and stretching the advantage to 42-26 by half-time. Atlanta fought back after the break, winning the third quarter 19-12 and the fourth 17-13, but the rally fell short: with nine seconds left, Angel Reese turned the ball over and Gabby Williams stole it to seal the win.
Atlanta icon Big Boi performed the half-time show with the Valkyries already up by 16, part of a run of big-name entertainment across the Finals games in Atlanta.
The series now returns level at two games apiece, with the championship still to be decided.
