FBI adds Goldy Brar to Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, raises reward to $1 million
The FBI has added fugitive gangster Satinderjeet Singh, known as Goldy Brar, to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and raised the bounty on him to $1 million, saying he allegedly leads the Bishnoi organised crime group in North America.
The FBI has added fugitive gangster Satinderjeet Singh, widely known as Goldy Brar, to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and announced a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest, the agency said on Monday, September 28.
“Fugitive federal defendant Satinderjeet Singh (also known as Goldy Brar, among other aliases) is being added on September 28 to the FBI’s notorious list of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives,” said FBI Los Angeles Field Office Assistant Director in Charge Patrick Grandy at a press briefing, according to The Indian Express.
Brar is wanted for his alleged involvement in the Lawrence Bishnoi Organised Crime Group, which the FBI says is engaged in violent acts in Southern California and across the United States and Canada. The agency describes him as the alleged leader of the group in North America and warned he should be considered armed, dangerous and an escape risk.
The bounty was raised from $50,000 to $1 million for information leading to his arrest, The Indian Express reported.
A federal arrest warrant for Singh was issued on July 1 in the US District Court for the Central District of California, charging him with RICO conspiracy, conspiracy to interfere with commerce by extortion, and conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances.
Singh was identified during Operation Hardball, a years-long federal investigation into India-based transnational organised crime groups; in July, US authorities announced charges against 37 defendants linked to three such groups.
“Goldy Brar and his network have wreaked devastating havoc on countless lives — through high-profile murders, shootings, death threats, extortion, arson, and drug trafficking,” said Lisa Moreland, deputy commissioner of federal policing for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Canada designated the Bishnoi enterprise a terrorist entity in September 2025. In India, Brar is wanted in connection with several killings and was allegedly the mastermind behind the 2022 murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala, The Indian Express reported.
