Hila Klein accuses husband Ethan Klein of monthslong affair as H3 Podcast goes on hiatus

Hila Klein has accused her husband, YouTuber and H3 Podcast host Ethan Klein, of having an affair lasting more than six months, in a three-part statement posted on Instagram early on Friday, 23 October. (USA Today, Tribune.pk, NDTV, Economic Times)

“I am living in a nightmare I can’t wake up from. My husband has been having an affair,” Hila, 38, wrote. “I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months.”

She said she had sensed something was wrong but was met with “dismissive answers and no action”. She said Ethan first minimised the situation — “‘It was just a kiss’ became ‘it was emotional cheating’” — before, she claimed, admitting to an affair of “over 6 months” after being caught in a lie. These are her claims; they have not been independently confirmed.

Hila said the couple — married in 2012, with three young sons — would separate, describing herself as in “survival mode” while navigating separation and co-parenting.

Hours earlier, Ethan, 41, had announced on Instagram Stories that the H3 Podcast would go on an “indefinite hiatus”, without explanation. On Friday the podcast’s crew posted a joint statement saying its members were “shocked, angry, and heartbroken”, that they “stand with Hila”, and that they would not continue working with Ethan “involved or profiting in any way”; the show’s future was unclear.

Ethan Klein had not publicly responded at the time of reporting; USA Today said it had sought his comment.
