Gypsy Rose Blanchard's fiancé Ken Urker dies at 33

Ken Urker, the fiancé of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, has died aged 33 after being found unresponsive at a home in Louisiana on his birthday.

Ken Urker, the fiancé of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, has died. He was 33.

Urker was found unresponsive at a home in Louisiana on his birthday, Thursday 1 October, Page Six reported, citing TMZ. He was discovered by a family member after Blanchard texted him “happy birthday” and received no reply.

How Urker died is currently unclear. Neither outlet reporting the story has given a confirmed cause of death, and the story is developing.

Urker and Blanchard shared a one-year-old daughter, Aurora Raina, who was born on 28 December 2024.

The pair first connected as prison pen pals in 2017, while Blanchard was behind bars for her role in the 2015 murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. They became engaged in October 2018 but broke up in August 2019.

Blanchard went on to marry Ryan Anderson in a jailhouse ceremony in July 2022, while she was still in prison. The pair split in March 2024 — three months after her release — and their divorce was finalised later that year, Page Six reported. She then rekindled her relationship with Urker.
