Colts beat Commanders 30-13 in London as Taylor scores twice and rookie Kaliakmanis finishes

Jonathan Taylor ran for two touchdowns as the Indianapolis Colts beat the Washington Commanders 30-13 in London on Sunday.

The Indianapolis Colts pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat the Washington Commanders 30-13 in Sunday’s NFL Week 4 game in London, according to Reuters.

Jonathan Taylor scored on a pair of five-yard runs and finished with 95 yards on 20 carries as the Colts overcame an early 6-0 deficit. Quarterback Daniel Jones completed 19 of 34 passes for 143 yards with an interception, then sealed the win with a five-yard rushing touchdown on third-and-two with 11:38 left, per Reuters. Spencer Shrader added field goals of 48, 52 and 44 yards.

Washington, which fell to 1-3 while the Colts moved to 2-2, finished the game with rookie Athan Kaliakmanis at quarterback. Starter Marcus Mariota, who was deputising for the injured Jayden Daniels (elbow), left in the first quarter with a right knee injury and did not return, Reuters reported. Kaliakmanis, a 2026 seventh-round pick, completed 15 of 33 passes for 186 yards, throwing a 47-yard touchdown to Treylon Burks with one interception.

The Colts’ own report noted the Commanders were penalised 10 times to just one flag on Indianapolis, and that the win was the Colts’ third consecutive international victory.
