Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck early in the second half to earn Leeds United a 1-1 draw with Manchester United in the Roses derby at Elland Road, extending the visitors’ winless Premier League run to five matches.

Bryan Mbeumo had fired United into a 35th-minute lead, slipping past James Justin to turn home Youri Tielemans’ low cross for his fourth goal of the season, according to the Press Association. Leeds hit back six minutes after the restart, when Tarik Muharemovic’s header from a corner fell to Calvert-Lewin on the edge of the six-yard box and the England striker slammed home at full stretch.

The Times reported that Lisandro Martínez, who started days after being fined and apologising for publicly criticising the club hierarchy, was withdrawn at half-time with Noussair Mazraoui replacing him.

The result leaves United 13th in the table with just one win in seven league matches, while Leeds sit seventh, three points above Michael Carrick’s side, per Sky Sports post-match reporting. Leeds, per Sky Sports’ highlights package, still await a first home win over United in 24 years.
