No. 5 Ohio State ends Indiana's 22-game win streak with 19-15 win at Bloomington

No. 5 Ohio State beat No. 4 Indiana 19-15 at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, snapping the national champion Hoosiers' 22-game winning streak and dealing them their first loss since the 2024 season.

No. 5 Ohio State ended No. 4 Indiana’s 22-game winning streak with a 19-15 victory at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington on Saturday, dealing the national champion Hoosiers their first defeat in over a year.

Indiana, who entered 6-0 and had not lost since the 2024 season, fell to 6-1 (3-1 Big Ten). Ohio State improved to 6-1 (4-0), avenging last December’s Big Ten title-game loss in Indianapolis.

The Buckeyes led 10-7 at the break after Connor Hawkins’ 26-yard field goal and Julian Sayin’s two-yard touchdown pass to Bo Jackson, and a 29-yard Hawkins kick in the third quarter made it 13-7. Sayin then hit Jeremiah Smith for a 38-yard score early in the fourth, though the two-point try failed, making it 19-7. Indiana answered through Josh Hoover’s 19-yard strike to Nick Marsh and a two-point conversion to Turbo Richard, cutting the gap to four with 10:30 remaining.

Indiana’s defense gave the Hoosiers a chance — Amare Ferrell intercepted Sayin twice — but kicker Nico Radicic missed twice, from 32 and 55 yards, and Ohio State’s pass rush kept the hosts pinned in. Sayin finished 15 of 29 for 235 yards and two touchdowns, but was replaced late by Luke Fahey and was later seen on the sideline with his arm in a sling. Hoover threw for 280 yards and a touchdown for Indiana, while Smith caught four passes for 68 yards and a score.

Ohio State was a 3.5-point favorite with the Hoosiers hosting the biggest home game in program history, broadcast on Fox.
