Kyren Williams scores twice late as Rams rally past Eagles 24-20 in Philadelphia

Kyren Williams scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns — with 3:59 and 1:10 remaining — as the Los Angeles Rams came from 20-10 down at half-time to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-20, leaving both teams at 2-2.

The Los Angeles Rams scored 14 unanswered fourth-quarter points to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-20 in Philadelphia on Sunday, with Kyren Williams rushing for two late touchdowns, Reuters reported.

Williams reached the end zone with 3:59 remaining and again from seven yards out with 1:10 left on the clock to complete the comeback. The Eagles had led 20-10 at half-time and had not trailed at any point before the go-ahead score. Byron Young sealed the win with two sacks on Philadelphia’s final drive, and Jalen Hurts’ deep pass on fourth down was broken up to end the game, NBC Sports reported.

Matthew Stafford overcame two first-half interceptions — which led to 10 Philadelphia points — to finish 32 of 51 passing, while Puka Nacua caught nine passes for 125 yards and added a two-yard rushing touchdown, the third rushing score of his career. Williams totalled 146 yards from scrimmage.

Hurts finished 12 of 27 for 93 yards with two touchdowns to Darius Cooper, but Philadelphia managed only 172 yards of offence and went 0 for 12 on third down. The Eagles lost Saquon Barkley to a right hamstring injury on the second snap of the game and were already without DeVonta Smith (hamstring), Dallas Goedert (knee) and Lane Johnson (personal); Tank Bigsby also exited the game, per NBC Sports.

The result leaves both teams at 2-2.
