Sting's son Steven Borden concussed at AEW All Out, 'awake and responsive' after hospital CT scan

Steven Borden, the 34-year-old son of wrestling icon Sting, was concussed during his AEW All Out pay-per-view debut on Saturday; AEW president Tony Khan said on Sunday he is awake, responsive and had clear CT scan results.

Steven Borden, the 34-year-old son of wrestling icon Sting, was concussed during his AEW All Out pay-per-view debut on Saturday night, before being given a positive update by AEW president Tony Khan on Sunday.

Borden was injured during the tag-team match at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, where he teamed with Darby Allin against Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher. He was knocked out when he and Knight each attempted a coast-to-coast spot at the same time — either in their awkward mid-air collision or when he struck his head on the mat while landing.

AEW’s announce team said during the broadcast that Borden was awake and talking at the hospital, accompanied by AEW medical staff. Borden, who made his televised in-ring debut in August 2026, was stretchered from the match, which was stopped and awarded to Knight and Fletcher.

Speaking at AEW’s post-show media scrum on Sunday, Khan gave the first full update: “Thankfully, Steven Borden — awake, responsive at the hospital, and he had a CT scan and all the tests have come back good, so far all good results, and we’re hopeful Steven’s gonna be able to fly home tomorrow to his family.”

Khan added that All Out left a number of wrestlers “banged up”, with several being checked by doctors.
