London-based AI voice firm ElevenLabs plans to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in India, co-founder Mati Staniszewski told Reuters on Tuesday, building local teams, models and Indian-language voice products.

London-based AI voice company ElevenLabs plans to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in India, its co-founder Mati Staniszewski told Reuters on Tuesday.

Staniszewski said the company is open to merger and acquisition targets in India, though he declined to disclose any names. The exact investment amount was also not disclosed.

The investment would be used to add local teams, develop models and work on Indian languages, he said.
