Meta has named Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as the first India brand ambassador for Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta, alongside the India launch of the Gen 3 AI glasses starting at Rs. 44,300 and the upcoming Muse AI agent for its eyewear.

Meta has named Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as the first India brand ambassador for Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta, launching a new “Frame Your True Self” campaign, alongside the India launch of the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 AI glasses.
The Gen 3 glasses start at Rs. 44,300 in India and are available through meta.com, in.rayban.com and electronics, optical and eyewear retailers, News18 reported. The glasses come in 27 colour and lens combinations across three styles — Aviator, Zena and Wayfarer — with a limited-edition Aviator marking the style’s 90th anniversary, according to Fortune India.
The new generation has a slimmer design, a 12-megapixel camera that records 3K Ultra HD video, open-ear speakers, a six-microphone array claimed to cut more than 90 per cent of background noise, and up to nine hours of battery life — an hour more than the previous generation — plus a customisable action button for direct access to Meta AI.
Meta also previewed Ray-Ban Meta Audio, its lightest AI glasses yet, and announced Muse, a personal AI agent for its smart glasses that will respond to what the wearer is looking at and take action, set to roll out in the coming months.
“Ray-Ban has always stood for individuality, and that is something I have connected with for as long as I can remember,” Singh said of the partnership (News18; Fortune India; ETBrandEquity via Reuters).
